I have received many requests to create an opportunity to share the enjoyment of Sashiko stitching after the workshop. So, here is what I come up with. "Sashiko Gathering". Atsushi will be with the participants. This is a great opportunity to review what you learned in the Sashiko Stitching Workshop (Core & Basic). I will provide small presentations regarding the contents we covered in the previous workshop such as how to move the needle, how to transfer/draw the pattern, and more.
Please bring your own (Sashiko) project you are working on. It doesn't have to be a traditional Sashiko project. A project of mending such as a hole on your denim is perfectly fine.
[Changed the condition.]
*Sashiko Stitching Kit with fabric and thread is available for purchase if you would like to not to bring your own project. Also, these prepared kit can be exchanged to some of the materials I provide. In other words, you can come and enjoy Sashiko by paying the participation fee.
The Sashiko Gathering comes with:
*Sashiko Pattern Practice Kit can be replaced to the other product if the participants do not need to review how to transfer the patterns.
*The contents above is the core materials I am thinking to provide. An item can be exchanged to an item you would like to get. For example, you can exchange the Natural Dye Sashiko Thread to prepared small Sashiko kit.
Other Sashiko supplies such as thread, needle, thimble, fabric, thread clipper, and much more will be available for sale with the special prices.
Bring your project, questions, and passion to share your Sashiko works!
To make it fair to all the participants, this gathering have a prerequisite.

With receiving 2 skeins of thread and fabric, I would like to motivate you to continue your Sashiko journey more and more. Also, it is a great opportunity to ask follow-up questions to Atsushi. I will also review your needles movement (if you would like to).
Some reviews & check-up are important to master the needle work. I offered the first workshop in 2016, September. It is about a good time to see if you are following my direction.
Please consider to come and see me with a lot of Sashiko materials.
I will bring some Sashiko items to inspire you. As always, you will be satisfied after the gathering.
